Here's the process I used to convert this TV Armoire into a swanky Craftroom Cabinet! Here are the BEFORE pics. It was fine and usable but definitely lacking in flair. Here's a pic I posted of my craftroom when we first moved into this house. Ohhh how things have changed!! Check out my latest Craftroom Tour HERE Ok, so we go... The armoire is in two pieces and heavy as heck!! So I painted it in place. (Hubby was out of town and I have the patience of a puppy). I chose a bright fun color and went to town! I didn't sand it...(don't yell at me) I just started slapping the paint on. I bought the paint at Target. The color is Devine Pond. (Find it HERE) I measured the hole in the middle of the armoire for shelves, but Hubby suggested a drawers! Well.. heck even better!! After the paint dried, I sanded all the edges to shabby it up! I shoved Planners and my Bible in the outdated CD holders. (I can't believe I called CD Holders "outdated" #waaa #old) I originally painted the drawer fronts, but decided to decoupage them instead. I used THIS paper pad from Hobby Lobby and Mod Podge. I bought some fun knobs at Hobby Lobby as well and was ready to go!! Here's my sweet hubby installing the drawers I bought these Angel Wings at Hobby Lobby and used a Command Hook to adhere them to the cabinet (Find Wings HERE) Here's how it turned out! I LOVE it!! Now on to the next project!!

I have enough sense to recognize and appreciate fine art skills. Yet, I am a sucker for wood. I love the richness, beauty, smell and everything of wood. I loved the armoire as it was (LOL).
