This file is called: Spoonie Strong

A spoonie is someone living with a chronic illness.
It mostly refers to physical chronic illnesses, though it has been known to be a helpful term for those with chronic mental illness as well.

It originates from Christine Miserandino's Spoon Theory story, in which she explains what it's like to live with chronic illness to a friend, and uses a handful of spoons to demonstrate.
For example, daily activities that healthy people tend not to think about take tolls on people with chronic illness. You start the day with a certain number of spoons, and play your day around not running out. Socializing might cost spoons, using the stairs might cost spoons, lifting things might cost spoons, etc.

Oh my goodness! My daughter is a Spoonie, AKA POTSie! She has POTS and EDS just to name a couple. If you have or will have anything more dealing with Spoonie's, POTSies, Dysautonomia, POTS, EDS, MCAS/MCAD, MALS, etc. I would love to know about it! Your items are gorgeous and I appreciate that you offer freebies.

I have POTS! I was just diagnosed with it this week, after waiting 4 long months with millions of tests performed. No one - where I live - knows what it is, so knowing that I'm not alone in this journey is comforting. Spoonies have to come together, and I totally agree with you on finding these freebies that have so much meaning!

Thank you so much for these! I'm a spoonie with ME/CFS, FMS, DDD, spinal stenosis and others. I really appreciate you designing and putting out all your stickers.... without them my planner would be so boring since I can't afford stickers off Etsy at $15/week. Even if I could, I'd come back to your sticker designs everytime! Something for everyone, now even spoonies! Thanks again 💜

Thank you, Victoria!! I'm a Lupus Spoonie. So few people understand the plight of any chronically ill person. Just getting up in the morning and showering can take half my spoons some mornings! Hugs to all of you who struggle, no matter the illness.
